Very enjoyable museum. It was empty and we really enjoyed learning more about the ancient settlements in the area. Very instructive and full of interesting pieces. Plus... There is AA, which makes it perfect to escape the heat 😉🤫🤭

Not a big place and mostly run of the mill bits and pieces, but some stand out things make it worthwhile. A child's toy sword, intricately carved belt buckle, lead figures of pilgrims stood out for me. Worth a visit

Découverte de ce petit musée archéologique ce jour qui a une très jolie collection de plus de 50 pièces antiques sur Eburomagus. (3 euros l'entrée qui vous permet d'aller au Essarts également - lieu d'arts divers). Une agréable surprise puisque un guide audio était disponible pour passer une petite heure à arpenter ce lieu. Certes il faut qu'elles améliorations mais bravo pour l'effort. Et merci pour l'accueil chaleureux et la demande de retour d'expérience qui ne fera qu'améliorer la visite.

Ce matin j'ai regardé les diverses sites pour savoir si le musée est ouvert aujourd'hui. PARTOUT j'ai trouvé "fermeture annuelle novembre-mars ". Sur Google que "prochaine ouverture jeudi 31 oct 14h00 ", et "fermé" à partir du 1er novembre. J'ai donc fait 2h30 de route pour y arriver à 14h00.

Le musée était fermé et à la porte était un papier "fermeture annuelle à partir du 27 octobre ".

J'ai donc fait 5 heures de route pour RIEN.

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi on ne peut pas au moins tenir son site à jour quand on ferme 4 jours avant la date indiquée de fin de saison. CE N'EST...
