We discovered this place at last minute and we were very happy to have found it. They serve traditional French food from the area but our vegetarian options were French fries and ratatouille which was veeery good and not expensive at all. We liked this fact ;) not a great fancy thing for a very demanding vegetarian person. Also! Attention! DESERT WAS AMAZING! go for the “cafe gourmand”. For the meat lovers we recommend the pork “confit” and the mushroom poultry (volaille farcy). They have good service and very flexible with people like us - specially my daughter and me who don’t eat meat at all. They are kid friendly. The decor is very original. It was an old hardware store and they have kept the place as it was with a lovely retouch of color.

This restaurant, recommended by a local bank employee, is top class. It was pretty full inside and out back with mainly locals; always a good sign. The plat du jour at 16€ was simply superb (Araignée du Porc). All main courses came with an optional starter, a delicious green salad topped with walnuts or egg mayonnaise. The a la carte menu looked interesting but only one of our party of 8 selected something; a salad niçoise. The wash basins and toilets were superbly appointed and spotless.

We were delighted to discover this restaurant. The lunchtime atmosphere was of local people dropping in to eat well in their lunch hour. The layout and decor was really excellent as was the food (we had the lunch menu of Poulet Basque. Our dogs were also accepted without problem. One we will definitely return to (their wine selection looked worth trying too).
