Wow - never been on a sub before!

We traveled from Caen to see this (a good 3 hour drive)

Don’t want to give to much away, we took over 100 photos, it’s pretty cool to see, if you like cool stuff and engineering then it 100% worth it.

I thought it was a little pricey before we walked in, but once in it was worth it, the Audio tour as you walk round, is defo worth listening too.

Some cool things to try, listen too, and understand about radar, listening devices on the way out.

Took around 30-35 mins to walk round the whole thing.

Bonus walk around the titanic museum and the aquatic Centre. But to be honest they reallly wasn’t that great but killed an another 30/40 mins and was free so we...

It was fascinating to see how every part of the submarine served a purpose and what life aboard might have been like. Definitely worth a visit for anyone into tech, history, or unique adventures! Great for...

The largest submarine currently open to the public , as well as originally nuclear powered and nuclear armed with 16 missiles. The tour is given by an audio guide , which is broken down into sections throughout the sub. It's full of fascinating info without being tech heavy. I was also concerned it may be claustrophobic, but I think I've been watching too many old war movies. It is brilliant, fascinating and troubling all in one visit....
