On August 2nd 2025, my wife, myself and our two kids went to Parc Robinson. The guy in the (first) picture - X - significantly ruined our experience that started off quite well actually. I’ll come to that in a second. There are four green and five blue courses. Also there’s a “grande tyrolienne”. My wife did all of them with an 8- and 10-year-old; my boots stayed on the ground all day. There are also courses with “Kid” in the name. Apparently those courses are not accessible for kids who are set to do the green and/or blue courses. No, I kid you not (pun intended). When our youngest was well on his way on one of those “Kid”-courses the very unfriendly guy in the picture - X - came to him and untied him immediately while saying with a loud voice: “NO, NO, NO!”. My wife saw this happening, was unpleasantly surprised with this scene and asked X why he was so unfriendly to our kids (also my older daughter had experienced his unkindness a couple moments before, which actually contributed to her crying because she wasn’t allowed on the course either but did not understand why). An argument was born and my wife became very upset with X’s behavior during their conversation. He didn’t show any empathy at all. Not towards our kids and not towards her. So my wife and X didn’t come to terms unfortunately. She actually wanted to leave the park immediately after this, but only stayed because the kids wanted to do two more courses and didn’t want it to ruin their day/experience too. When X passed me on one of his patrol rounds he didn’t act professional. I experienced his attitude as very negative/passive aggressive, while I didn’t have any part in the argument. The bottom line is: during the explanation before the start nobody of the staff actively mentioned that the “Kid”-courses were a no-go. X told that because it was not mentioned that the “Kid”-courses were accessible, therefore we simply had to understand they were not. The world upside down if you ask me… Because of this experience - and the way my wife’s feedback is addressed - I’ll have to give it one star. Yes, only because of (the behavior of) X. (Before posting this review I emailed Parc Robison about my complaint(s), but they withheld from any response until this day.)

A really fun place to go for young and old. There are so many climb trails that you can really be kept busy for a few hours. Friendly to neutral staff. After a short instruction course of about 10 minutes you’re on your own. Everything looks and feel safe though they could fix a few things here and there, but they’ll probably take care of it because it’s the end of the season.

For the English, this is a go ape type place, despite the google map icon indicating it's golf. It's much bigger than you can see from the road with around 20 courses in total, of about 20 minutes each, comprising in order of difficulty 4 green, 6 blue, and 10 red then black courses. Mostly in shade. Under 14s are not allowed on red or black courses, which are fairly extreme anyway. An adult must be on the course if there are kids. Even on the blue courses, there are steep climbs and grippy are recommended. My small 12 year old boy enjoyed the blue courses, but my 10 year old daughter found the blues extreme. I'm quite adventurous, though hate heights, but enjoyed the blues, and would have tackled the reds and blacks. Like all things in Labenne Ocean, tourists make things packed, but we went on a hot day and it wasn't crowded. They were perfectly happy for us to spend a few hours, leave for lunch and refill water and return again in the afternoon. Like all go ape style things, making sure you're not behind a slow group is important. We were lucky because it wasn't busy, but I can imagine it...
