Camping Vagues Océanes - Boudigau — Hotel in District of Dax

We stayed in a Homair 3 bed caravan on this site. The caravan was clean and well laid out, would have liked more sofa space though. Also forgot that there would be no kettle or toaster, but not a big deal, we got one from the local Intermarché. The site was very clean, the pool was lovely and warm and slides were fun. They kept on top of disinfection very well. Would have liked more shaded areas around the pool as they get taken quick. The restaurant was ok, it took a little too long to be served but the burgers and pizzas are very good. It was a bit warm in the restaurant because of the windows, blinds would be good. The park has a small playground and bouncy castle which is great for under 8-10 yrs old. Unfortunately with our kids being 10-13 they really could only go on the obstacle course which they said was boring or they could go on the multi sport pitch, which they didn't get much chance as it was always taken by other large families and older teenagers. A larger adventure playground would be good and/or another multi sport pitch. The site is quite small, so not much for kids to explore. The beach is only a short walk away and also some good walks and cycling in the national park just outside the campsite. So as a family plenty to do. On the whole we had a great holiday and would recommend this park. Just needs a little more for the kids who are too old for the small playground but not old enough to go out of the campsite...

Camping très peu divertissant !

Le club ados est nul, les activités proposées sont toutes payantes donc pas forcément avantageux surtout pour le prix de ce camping. Honnêtement allez faire les activités sans le camping les prix sont pas forcément intéressant donc quitte à payer le même prix allez y sans le camping.

Ensuite quand on joue au foot sur le city stade le ballon peut sortir et atterrir sur le terrain de pétanque qui sont sur les extrémités du terrain de foot. Terrain pas éclairé le soir tandis que les autres camping le sont.

Les animations dans ce camping sont beaucoup tourné vers les plus jeunes c'est a dire les 6-10ans, si vous êtes plus âgés il faudra savoir s'occuper avec peu de choses. Oui car ce camping n'a que la piscine un terrain de foot un terrain de volley et un terrain de pétanque pour s'occuper. Sinon les animations sont inexistantes.

Le soir quand on mangeait on n'entendait de la musique on s'est dit : ooh cool ça va être bien ce soir... Finalement c'était le camping d'en face. Ce camping est bien pour les personnes avec des enfants jeûne ou des personnes a la recherche du calme, si vous êtes a la recherche d'ambiance tout court n'allait pas ici, on dirait une maison de repos.

Un jour il y avait un tournoi de foot avec mon copain on s'est dis vas-y on va le faire ça va être sympa. Ça l'été sauf le moment des gens ont envoyés notre ballon chez le voisin a côté du camping. Oui car pour faire un tournoi de foot c'est bien connu que les animateurs ne prévoit pas de ballons. Donc le ballon perdu dans le jardin du voisin. L'animateur qui a organisé le tournoi de foot nous avait dis mot pour mot : "vous inquiétez pas les gars je vais vous ramener votre ballon a la réception". Pendant ce temps là on l'attend toujours...

La piscine est pas mal franchement quand vous y allez a des heures bien stratégique sinon c'est mort vous pouvez déjà commencer a posé vos affaires dans un coin et attendre qu'un transat se libère. Aaah j'allais oublier pensez à prendre des lunettes pour la piscine sinon vous allez sortir de la piscine avec des yeux de zombies.

En plus, notre bungalow était déjà habité par des "blattes de prairies" ou des "cafards" ou encore même des "puces des sables". A vrai dire on sait pas trop ce que c'était car d'après la responsable du camping, on vient de la ville et on sait pas ce que sait alors bon... Sinon j'ai pris plaisir a découvrir la vie de prisonniers ou ou est entassés les uns sur les autres. Oui oui car dans la chambre il n'y avait qu'à peine 50cm entre les deux lits. Donc très bonne expérience !

En parlant d'être entassés c'était très clairement l'impression que j'avais eu quand jme retrouver au p'tit déjeuner sur la terrasse a moins d'aménager la terrasse avec les serviettes pour pas que tout les voisins nous voient. D'après moi 4m entre chaque bungalow c'est très peu mais bon c'est seulement l'avis d'un gars de la ville apres tout.

Bon je crois je vais m'arrêter la, de toute manière en fouillant un peu dans tous les commentaires c'est pas la première fois que ça arrive.

We really enjoyed our stay and this medium sized and well run campsite. The majority of pitches are chalets/mobile homes with only a few campervan/caravan/tent pitches. We stayed in a pre-pitched, wooden framed, plastic/canvas covered "tent". This had a wooden base. separate bedrooms and a veranda etc so the word tent doesn't really do it justice. We and our 3 sons found this to be plenty on space as most of the time we were outdoors or on the veranda. The pool areas and slides were small but perfectly formed and unlike some other campsites there were not hundreds of children intent on committing hari-kari on bicycles whilst you try to get on and off site, although this could just have been because we were there at the end of the season. Labenne Ocean is a great setting off point for all sorts of day trips and we visited Biarritz, went into Spain twice, went up into the...
