This beach almost 'blew my mind' when I first came here in 1976!! I could hardly believe my eyes. As an erstwhile young man, the sight of very attractive young girls arriving, finding a small patch of sand, disrobing and then sunbathing 'au naturel' was incredible. There was nothing seedy about it and some may find the clothing optional regime as unpleasant but, if you are reasonably broad-minded, then just enjoy - the beauty of the girls, some daughters of film-stars, judging by their looks, seemed to fit perfectly with an almost totally natural and unspoilt beach. I have returned many times over the years and the planning authorities deserve magnums of champagne for NOT permitting ruinous development. Parking: There is paid Parking right after you turn from the road (8 € for a day, cash only). Beach: Sandy with some dry seaweed flying when it's windy. It was windy when I was there. I saw people with dogs on the beach, so dogs-friendly. Sea: Sandy flat entrance with some seaweed at the shallow water. Good for kids or weak swimmers as it gets deep very gradually. Water was clean and refreshing on 30 June. No lifeguards. Food: There are plenty of cafes and beach clubs. Good choice to eat. But kitchen for all venues closes at 4pm, so if you coming for a whole day, take a snack. There are merchants walking on the beach selling snacks, cold drinks, ice cream, umbrellas, and tanning cream. Toilets: No free public toilets, only in...

There was a bit of a party feel near the bar, with music and energy, but nothing over the top. You can have a drink, enjoy the buzz for a bit, then head back to your sunbed and relax, best of both worlds.
The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was ok, nothing special. I had a salade niçoise and struggled to find the tuna, to be honest.
