I had a wonderful tour of the garden led by Christophe, who can guide you in both French and English! The visit was a special late evening session. I’m truly fascinated by his passion and the interesting stories he brought about this garden: from Menton history, to its patrons and the garden biodiversity that is being kept here through the years. You’ll learn a lot about plants from all around the world! We were lucky to be the first group to visit the place this summer. I hope it will be better known. The villa cannot be visited from the inside, but you can walk on its corridor and balcony that made its feature in Agatha Christie’s Poirot series, as “Villa Marguerite” of the episode The Mystery of the Blue train. I can’t wait to attend this tour again for a morning session. Thank you Christophe!

On Saturday September 13 we toured Jardin Maria Serena with a most excellent guide. I apologize for forgetting his name. He was very informative, funny and engaging. You could tell he was a true plant lover. We enjoyed the stories he told about the plants, their origins, uses, and insect interactions. The gardens and views of Menton were terrific. We wish all guided tours were this good. Thank you!

Apparently it’s where one of the last episodes of Agatha Christie’s Poirot was filmed - The Mystery of the Blue Train. They called it ‘Villa Marguerite’
