The arena is quite tiny, which is not handy for Telephotolenses. I'd recommend going there with a 100-400 mm lens max. There are no shadow spots, which makes it difficult to sit down there over an hour in the summer heat. Show hours on weekends are different on the main entrance than on the website, and the show starts at 2:30 pm. Doors open 30 minutes ahead of time. Also, hands should not be raised overhead, smartphones should be switched off, kids should be quiet (no talking), and it is forbidden to walk during the show. Some variety in birds of prey that are not seen elsewhere, such as grey South American eagles and Asian snake eating Bird, white tailed european, and US eagles as well. Show is presented in period suits and with horses. There are no high standing points for...

Children and adults alike would love this show, and with a running time of 50 minutes it feels like the perfect length.
Oh, and to top all off, the show is located in the corner of the ramparts amongst the most stunning of...
Read moreGreat activity for the family, you get really close from the animals and have opportunity to exchange about the birds pray with a very competent staff.
It was a cloudy day and we were warned that if it rains they would start the show. We were lucky as the show started and it rained after.
The staff seems to be composed of passionate people only. All the performer are taking great care of the birds and you can literally see in which conditions they are kept after the show.
I would recommend to anyone travelling to Provins. This show really adds to the value of the place. Thank you so much for...
