Love the set up here.... plenty of swimming activities to amuse all ages and abilities. Pools include lapping areas, pool obstacle course, whirlpool, 'bubble seats', shallow children's pool with floating devices, very shallow indoor baby pool with lots of interesting fixtures, outdoor children's water park, lots of slides (vary ages, speeds, configurations), outdoor waist deep(ish) pools for relaxing. Also outdoors: grass area, cafe, showers, loungers, toddler sized toilets immediately next to the children's water park. Also indoors: loungers, cafe (with its own outdoor space), small cubbyhole shelving for dumping your towels/sunscreen, toddler bathrooms right next to the baby pool.
Pool areas are accessed via change rooms, which also serve as the shoe-bare foot change point. From here you walk past the lockers to secure your stuff and onto the wash area (for a mandatory pre-swim wash) and into the pool areas via a foot wash dip-way (as opposed to walk-way!). You leave the pool areas in reverse order - obviously.
Ample lockers & changing areas, a fair amount and variety of shower areas (single vestibules, family vestibules, open shower area with many showers and plenty of dry-area hooks). Family showers have soap dispensers, but after multiple visits, contained soap on only one occasion. BRING YOUR OWN WASH SOAP.
Lockers are key- and coin-less; these are secured and accessed with your entrance token (attached to a bracelet - both provided with entry fee).
Hair/body dryers - height-adjustable dryers are located between the mens' & womens' washrooms. If you can wait, use the beauty (?) room after the changing vestibules and immediately before you exit the water park. These contain the usual hand-held hairdryers with mirrors, chairs and bench space to put down your belongings. The washroom dryers have mirrors, but nothing else.
Overall, we found the 4 hour ticket was plenty for a family visit (2 adults with 5 children; 1 adult with 3 children). If you have the freedom to lay in the sun a while, then perhaps a full day ticket is better.
This isn't our first time at Vitam; we've visited countless times over the years we've spent holidays in this area. It remains on our 'to visit' list, regardless...

Apart from being over priced, it could be a nice swimming pool with many slides. However since coming here every week for a year for kids swimming classes my opinion has changed quite a bit. When it comes to the swimming lessons: we saw a different maitre nageur almost every course. They say they follow the kids by writing a few lines on a sheet, but I saw it and this is limited to 2 or 3 words. Several parents complained about this (and thus the lack of progress of the kids) but they only got a very rude reply from the teacher (she couldn't help it either, parents should not complain). When it comes to safety: I found a young child who obviously couldn't swim, crying and looking looking for his parents. He already asked to maitre sauveteur to help him, but got replied that he should look for his parents himself. He was left alone! So I had to stay with him and we waited for his parents, the child was clearly in distress and it was clear I was a stranger to him, yet no-one approached us to help or at least ask what was wrong. I am very shocked this could happen in a place where young children should be protected with any means against drowning...

Etant une personne à mobilité réduite je me suis fait refuser l' accès à la partie bien être par des employés qui refusent de comprendre que la distance est deux fois moins importantes que par l'accès par les vestiaires puis toute la partie piscine puis toute la partie balnéo puis toute la partie tisanerie ( 150 mètres contre plus de 400). Je suis déjà passé par l' accès abonné quand j'étais en fauteuil roulant et maintenant que je marche très difficilement (donc situation encore plus compliquée), des employés zélés me refusent l'accès malgré la présentation de ma carte mobilité réduite. C est un vrai scandale que une entreprise comme l' UCPA ne prennent pas en compte les demandes d'adaptations aux personnes handicapées (surtout que cela m avait auparavant été proposé par les équipes elles même) et vous mettez en avant l’accessibilité aux personnes à mobilité réduite !!! Honteux et inacceptable comme comportement

Des employés qui refusent de comprendre que la distance d'accès à la zone "bien etre" est deux fois plus longue en passant: -par les vestiaires public (100 mètres) -puis toute la partie piscine (150 mètres) -Puis par l'entrée de l'espace extérieur ( 100 mètres) -Puis par la partie tisanerie (50 mètres) plutot que de passer par l'espace handicapé ( "seulement" 150 mètres ) mais uniquement réservé aux handicapé abonnés !?!?
Si je suis si précis sur les distances, c'est que chaque pas en "difficile" D'ou ma reconnaissance de personne à mobilité réduite !
Et vous vous cachez derrière une "désorganisation" pour justifier votre refus d'adapter mon entrée à vos espaces

Permettez-moi de juger votre politique complètement absurde.
Je ne pense pas qu'il y ait tellement de demande de passage par l'espace "handicapé abonné" qui justifierait une désorganisation quotidiennement de nos équipes.
Se cacher derrière une organisation reflète bien votre incapacité à tenir compte du handicap.
Et vous mettez en avant l’accessibilité aux personnes à mobilité réduite !!!
