Green water, mistreated livestock and disease. Livestock tanks were poorly maintained with algae growth and stagnant pools, particularly the Trout habitat where the livestock were covered in fungal infections and malformations. Livestock were even held in tanks with their own predators not a single Roach left in a tank where they were meant to be with 4 large Pike.

Tanks were not appealing to look at even when the livestock were in appropriate conditions with little to no plants and large amounts of mulm covering the bottom of all of the large tanks.

On the reptile side crocodiles were in very small enclosures with multiple large alligators (5 to 10 years old) being in pools that were 2M x 5M with stagnant shallow water. Again many of the snake habitats were dull to look at while still not replicating their natural habitat. Finally about 40 adult turtles in a small pool maybe 4M x 4M with stagnant water.

Overall very poor with severe need to increase staffing and...

Pretty poor value for money. We visited the aquarium on a pretty quiet August day. It cost €48 for 2 adults, 2 children and an infant which doesn't sound too bad, except we really took our time walking round (we read every information board) and we had done the lot in an hour. A lot of the fish exhibits looked pretty tired and not as clean as they should be. The alligator and reptile part however was ok, and looked a lot newer, but most of the alligators were pretty small. The place is geared up to try and make you do all the four activities on site (mini golf, a go-ape type thing and a prehistoric labyrinth), but this would have cost over €150 and looking at the size of the place, it would have still only filled half a day. I would say definitely...

It was ok. The receptionist didn't give us options of tickets, we learned later we could have done the aquarium and either the crazy golf or the prehistoric park or all three. That was disappointing. The aquarium itself was ok except where the crocodiles are kept.. a very small concrete area with a little water. It was sad to see. Pictures online show a fishy tunnel but that wasn't there. The creperie was open but we wanted burgers so had to finish the aquarium to reach the hut. When we did, it was closed. The receptionist should have told us that too. We did have pizza there tho which was very nice and very hot. Very nice...

Quite pricey but worth it if you can take advantage of the free second day. We went twice and thought every activity was great. The high ropes was challenging (although disappointing to have some small sections taped off). The crazy golf was a lot of fun, we did that twice and the maze was a little bonkers but good. The aquarium was also good and fish feeding, reptile demo and alligator demo worth the wait. We could have spent all day there if we'd wanted to repeat the activities numerous times but we went for 1 afternoon til 7.30 and one late morning til 6.30pm. You need more of a day to accommodate the aquarium demos.

There’s a selection of ticket choices for a variety of activities in the same location. We skipped the rest of the activities as it was €132 for a family of 4 for the Aquarium, Maze and big climbing frame. We paid half this for just the aquarium. Not a bad exhibit overall, but in my view expensive for what you get, and the time it takes to get around - maybe 2 hours if you really go slow. However, if it’s a rainy day and you’re in the area then it’s probably worth a visit - especially if you’re a fan of alligators…..
