El Museo ocupa el antiguo mercado de grano de Vienne, construido en 1823, al que se añadió un piso, precisamente, para instalar el museo en 1895. Aunque pequeño -son apenas tres salas-, es especialmente interesante por la primera, donde se exponen piezas de la Prehistoria y la Antigüedad. En ella se exhiben tres obras maestras: el relieve de los Delfines –decoración de un edificio de época romana junto al Ródano–, la estatua en bronce de Caius Julius Pacatianus –del siglo II d. C.–, y un cofre de marfil con forma de cabeza femenina del siglo IV. El resto de la colección no está mal, y tiene la ventaja de que puede verse rápido, centrándose en lo que interese, pues cuenta con una muy buena musealización.

Museo di Belle Arti e Archeologia di Vienne: Un tuffo nella storia e nell'arte ️

Situato nel cuore di Vienne, in Francia, il Musée des Beaux-Arts et d'Archéologie (Museo di Belle Arti e Archeologia) è un vero e proprio scrigno di tesori che custodisce reperti e opere d'arte che spaziano dalla preistoria al XX secolo.

Varcando la soglia del museo, verrete subito avvolti da un'atmosfera ricca di storia e fascino. Le sale, sapientemente allestite, ospitano una collezione permanente che racconta la storia della città e del suo territorio attraverso manufatti di diverse epoche.

Tra i reperti archeologici più interessanti, troviamo statue, mosaici, ceramiche e oggetti di uso quotidiano che ci permettono di conoscere da vicino la vita quotidiana delle popolazioni che abitavano Vienne nel corso dei secoli. ️

La sezione dedicata all'arte medievale e rinascimentale vanta dipinti, sculture e arazzi di grande pregio. Tra le opere più importanti, possiamo ammirare una Madonna con Bambino di scuola senese del XIV secolo e un ritratto di François I di Francia attribuito a Jean Clouet.

Il museo ospita anche una ricca collezione di arte moderna e contemporanea, con opere di artisti francesi e internazionali. Tra i nomi più noti, troviamo quelli di Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall e Yves Klein.

Un'intera sezione del museo è dedicata alla scultura, con opere di Auguste Rodin, Aristide Maillol e Antoine Bourdelle.

It's a beautiful building with its own rich history that houses a very small but eclectic collection of artwork and archeological collections of the history of this gorgeous city of Vienne. It costs €3 to enter and with about three significant rooms there aren't much to see! But packed with historical documents that really make up for the sparse collections inside. Nous sommes assez mitigés par rapport à la qualité de ce musée. Même si les objets d'époque romaine étaient très bien mis en valeur et conservés, avec de nombreuses pancartes explicatives, le reste du musée est complètement délaissé. On ne sait pas de quand datent la plupart des objets, d'où ils viennent ni à quoi ils servaient. Certains ne sont même pas protégés ! Beaucoup de tableaux sont très mal éclairés, ont eu une rénovation bien sommaire (présence de trou, de vieux vernis, retouches bâclées...) et sont empilés les uns au dessus des autres sur d'immenses murs, nous n'avons même pas la possibilité de les observer de plus près.

Je ne pense pas recommander ce musée, il permet d'y passer une petite heure, mais un amoureux des peintures et objets historiques y serait très déçu par le manque d'informations.

Je me suis trouvée rester sur ma faim à la sortie du musée, surtout que nous n'y étions pas allés pour la partie gallo-romaine, mais plutôt pour les...
