Heart wrenchingly sad yet meaningful memorial grove created in 2017 marking the location in Moabit Freight Station where approximately thirty thousand Jewish citizens were deported to death camps between 1942 and 1944. Twenty four Scots Pine trees (Pinus Sylvestris) poignantly embellish this broodingly solemn and peaceful little green space in central Berlin. Weather protective Corten steel information plates on site near a section of railway track which symbolically remains. A valuable place to create awareness of the past for visiting...
