Paw Patrol Adventure Bay — Attraction in Bottrop

If you go to Movie Park with a kid 4 years or younger it's basically going to be a very frustrating and overpriced playground visit. I am here with my little one right now who was looking forward to seeing the Paw Patrol pups (either mascotts or little statues) but almost nothing of the sort except for one Zuma statue.

The promo material and videos on Youtube I have seen shows all vehicles with the pups standing around Adventure Bay but all of those vehicles have been removed. Basically they only have the Tower (you can't enter), the boat, a ride with Zuma's hoovercrafts and a very generic ride with cars that happen to be in the colors of the Paw Patrol cars but look nothing like it. It's basically a very boring playground with lazy Paw Patrol franchising.

We just spoke with a worker here asking whether there are any mascotts in the park and she told us they only had Skye and Spongebob for the entire day.

Update: They just held their 14.00 kids show which was a silly dance with Skye and Spongebob, and the most memorable thing about the experience were the workers aggressively guarding the ropes that were put around the area to the point thet were angrily approaching our and other toddlers for touching the rope. Not sure if they really believed they had to protect the lives of the mascotts or it was a typical German neuroticism of upholding the rules over everything, including children's joy.

Das Thema ist optisch schön umgesetzt. Die kleinen Fans haben Freude daran. Leider war bei unserem Besuch das Fahrgeschäft von Zoomer außer Betrieb. Ansonsten gibt es noch einen kleinen Monorail-Fahrparcours mit den Hundeautos. Einen kleinen (Sand)Spielplatz und einen Raum für ein Meet&Greet. Für die Kleinsten sicherlich unterhaltsam aber auch kein Alleinstellungsmerkmal, was den Besuch und den Eintritt rechtfertigen.
