Südpark — Attraction in Dusseldorf

The place left both positive and negative feelings. The park is large and you can spend hours just walking around. A lot of trees, flowers, nice viewpoints. And all of that is just great. What is not great is the playground for kids. The playground for small kids was closed when we were there, the playground for older kids was a) overcrowded b) full of smoke from 10th or even 100 of BBQ parties around. In fact the smell of smoke was so strong that we were not able to spend there more then 20 minutes. The amount of smoke was so huge that you could suggest a forest...

Modern,Very clean, huge, different sections for everyone and everything, lots of sporting grounds, children play grounds, ponds, openair activity lounges, so many gardens of different designs, private and institutional gardens, huge beautiful graveyard etc....very family friendly, well designed landscape, always an experience when u get there. It will take over a year just to experience every corner. It's always mostly at weekends but still enough space for more ... You also have ice cream trucks in the park. One of the best designed parks...

This is a really great park on the south side of Düsseldorf. It's great for pretty much anything you want to do... Walking, running, bicycling, etc. You could even just go for a picnic, or to fly a kite.

There's a nice lake, 2 cafés, a petting zoo, and a botanical/exotic flower garden.

The park is vast and had plenty of parking right nearby at a couple of entrances.

If the weather is nice. I would recommend visiting for a nice walk at...
