Good things: nice souvenirs, couple of very exotic animals, creative content. Bad things: even though I bought ticket online, that did not save me time. You need to stand in a line to check your ticket and it took 20 minutes. Online it appears that there are tours every 30min, and you need to choose a time for your visit. We came earlier than we booked and nobody checked our booked time. Basically, if you come and pay they will let you in, regardless the tour reservation, which makes all of the steps on the website unnecessary. There was no place for us to leave heavy bags and jackets, nor for everybody else. This means that if you are a tourist like us, you will need to carry all of your bags around. You can freely walk back and forth between the rooms which creates a confusion where to go next, or did you miss something. Also this allows children to run around and play, and their parents are chasing them which creates a total anarchy. If you planned like us to go there to get some rest, it is impossible. 99% of content and signs are in German. If you don't know it you are doomed. Very low oxygen in the air. Your head can start hurting and I had a panic attack because I was surrounded by many people and they where all moving very slowly through entire place. There is no indication on how far away you are from the exit. Totally random botanical garden. I thought it was called SEA LIFE?! Kids are stuck on the glass and if you really wish to see animals you will need to wait a lot of time for them to move. It was overcrowded, and it ruined the potentially good...
Read moreIf you're looking for a fun and educational activity for the whole family, Sea Life Hannover is a must-visit. This aquarium is beautifully themed like a ship, with different fish and sea creatures to discover at every turn. It's the perfect spot for small kids and big families alike, as there's something for everyone to enjoy.
One of the things I appreciated about Sea Life Hannover was the relaxed pace. It's definitely not a place to rush through - take your time exploring each aquarium and really soaking in the experience. You'll be amazed at the variety of creatures you'll see, from colorful tropical fish to fascinating sea turtles and even sharks!
Overall, I highly recommend Sea Life Hannover. It's a great way to spend a few hours, and the educational value is a bonus. Kids will love seeing the different sea creatures up close, and adults will appreciate the attention to detail and beautiful theming. So take your time, enjoy the experience,...
Read moreThis place is beautiful! My kid had so much fun here! Here people of all ages can enjoy tis aquarium. We go there many times a year. I recommend you to buy the tickets online because they can be a little cheaper, but the fast pass is something i never saw i need to get. Huge variety of ocean animals, the feedings are very educational, the staff is super friendly and (they help you find animals you are not easy to spot like the the chameleon and answer any questions if you see them around) some of them even speak English. The shop has great, fun and educational gifts. The plushies are just adorable and magnets were awsome! They have a little coffee for you to eat some foods, snacks, drinks and with chais. Just heads up, the Amazon part can be a little too humid and if you have jackets can be hot. To be disabled (like on wheelchairs) might be too hard to go thru some places, they probably have but i didn’t see...
