Spätzle-Haus — Restaurant in Hanover

Edit because the website and opening hours vary so much that as a costumer you are not able to plan a visit at this restaurant. Should be open from 17 o'clock till open end but there have now been several occasions where the restaurant was closed or had an event which meant that the restaurant was closed for the public. This is really disappointing and even though I used to like eating here this has made it unreasonable hard to eat here.

I would say a must do in Hannover or must eat.

This place has a good variety of Spätzle and they all come freshly served to your seat. Also sauce and Spätzle itself are all you can eat. So you can also try different kinds of Spätzle, here I'm just a bit disappointed, because sometimes the service isn't telling you that you can try more sauces or Spätzle, which resulted in my first time here only eating one portion.

Recommend dine in and trying different Spätzle and sauces after you finished your first set of Spätzle. And get a salad, the dressing is soo delicious, really worth it.

Mein Arbeitskollege ist per Zufall in dieses doch unscheinbar wirkende Lokal reingestolpert als er frisch in die Gegend zog. Kurzum hat er gesagt wir gehen da mal hin, es ist klasse. Jetzt war ich bereits XY oft da und es ändert sich einfach nichts.

Mit meiner Frau konnte ich jetzt (dank Corona) leider erst neulich hin, doch immerhin kam Sie jetzt auch in den Genuss dieser kleinen Perle in Hannover. Der Service ist wirklich immer freundlich und heißt einen willkommen. Zuvor gibt es immer mal einen kleinen Kehlenbefeuchter als Begrüßung und ein immer warmes lächeln. Das Essen (Die Bilder sprechen für sich) war wie immer köstlich. Besonders das Rinderfilet mit dem roten Pesto kann ich jedem ans Herz legen der Fleisch und Pesto mag und für den beides in Kombination einfach (wie für mich) grandios ist. Nicht zu vergessen die anderen Speisen die wir hatten. Was aber wirklich für das Spätzlehaus spricht ist (und man darf jetzt nicht über mich lachen), der Beilagensalat. Das war tatsächlich der kick. Das hauseigene Vinaigrette ist einfach fantastisch und an solchen kleinen Dingen merkt man einfach, da wird wirklich mit Hingabe gekocht. Auch eine geschälte Tomate sieht man nicht in jedem Restaurant.

Das alles zusammen wird noch exzellent abgerundet mit dem Preis. Ich schaue nicht immer so genau auf den Preis wenn das Essen klasse war, aber hier muss ich sagen ist das Preis/Leistung-Niveau auf einem exorbitant perfekten Level. Ich werde auch weitere male dort essen gehen und es jedem ans Herz legen der mich fragt: "Wo kann man denn in Hannover gut essen?".

Cozy atmosphere and good food.

I went here as a part of a department dinner with a fixed menu. Nevertheless, all dishes were excellent from chestnut soup to turkey with 3 different kinds of Spätzle to an awesome dessert. Our group of 60 people filled the restaurant completely and enabled a nice evening with just the colleagues. The selection of beverages was also good in beer, wine and other drinks. This location is recommended both for private but also especially for such company...
