A lovely afternoon going up the funicular. There is a restaurant at the top but you need reservations and you must not be casually dressed. We were casually dressed and didn't have reservations and were sent on our way by a couple of men who didn't seem to have much English but were not overly rude. The sunset was gorgeous and there is roman amphitheater-like seating for plenty to enjoy the view. I want to go back in the early morning on a clear day to see how far the view extends into France. The tower is also accessible by car and on foot by way of a lot of steps.
