The Blühendes Barock Gartenschau in Ludwigsburg is truly an inspiring destination, offering a unique blend of palace and gardening that is unlike any other. What makes it even more extraordinary is the annual Kürbis (pumpkin) exhibition that takes place here, an event that is a sight to behold and never to be seen anywhere else.

The Kürbis exhibitions at the Blühendes Barock are nothing short of amazing. The creativity and craftsmanship that go into creating intricate Kürbis statues and monuments are truly impressive. These larger-than-life pumpkin sculptures are a testament to human imagination and skill.

What's particularly heartwarming is that kids absolutely love this place. The whimsical and larger-than-life Kürbis figures capture their imaginations and provide endless opportunities for exploration and wonder. It's an experience that can create lasting memories for young visitors.

The combination of the palace, gardens, and the Kürbis exhibitions creates a unique and unforgettable atmosphere. The Blühendes Barock Gartenschau is not only a visual delight but also an educational and enriching experience. It's a place where history, art, and nature come together in a way that is both inspiring and enjoyable.

In conclusion, the Blühendes Barock Gartenschau in Ludwigsburg, accompanied by the annual Kürbis exhibitions, is a must-visit destination for individuals and families alike. It offers an extraordinary blend of history, art, and nature that is both awe-inspiring and fun. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind experience that will leave you with a sense of wonder, this is the...

What can we imagine of pumpkins and how many variety? Maximum of couple of types of pumpkins and some curry or soup or haloween decoration items prepared of pumpkin. At Ludwigsburg palace during Kurbisfest (generally from 1st week of August till 1st week of December), one can find hundreds of varities of pumpkins, of different colors and shape and size. Moreover, during this fest, there are many statues prepared of pumpkins, many idols being carved out of a single pumpkin. There are many stalls to try out different recipes prepared out pumpkin or to buy the raw one. Pumpkin Ice (cream) was the surprise element for me. There were stalls for carving out shapes from pumpkin too. The palace also has big garden with variety of flowers and birds to see. It also has a tower to see around the palace. I felt the entry fee 10€ per person a bit on higher side. Tickets could be bought online as well as at the entrance of the palace. Otherwise it is all together a...

We spent a lovely afternoon at Blühendes Barock Gartenschau in Ludwigsburg and it honestly felt like a little hidden gem. Entry was 14€ per adult and it was absolutely worth it.

The place is huge and beautifully maintained, with stunning trees, birds, flamingos, and even storks wandering around. There were also impressive sand sculptures scattered throughout, which made the whole walk even more interesting.

For families, this place is a dream. So many playgrounds and kid-friendly attractions — it's basically heaven for children. The fairytale walk through the garden was magical and so thoughtfully done.

It takes about 2 to 3 hours to explore everything at a relaxed pace. There are clean toilets, a restaurant, and plenty of space to sit and take it all in.

Highly recommend if you're in the area. We’ll...
