Hi everyone Maybe you ask me why i give 1 star ⭐️ for this palace My answer is there is many many reason to explain So 1– i give 5 stars ⭐️ to architecture and painter and all personal that they keep place for over 200 years fresh and even they keep all old exterior as same as before even color of exterior is the same as first day 2- i give 5 stars ⭐️ to out tour guide she is really good person and she explain about all details 3- i give less than 1 star ⭐️ to the manager and director of this palace Cus about this palace they said is near 25000 square meter building and garden And when u stay in center of yard you will be Surrounded with too many building In tour they said we have just 45 minutes for that In beginning we must spend 4-5 minute outside till tour-guide explain about general information of palace and very short fast we must go to church and for 4-5 minutes explain about that church After that we must wait till we can go in other place of palace as theater room after that hall room and after that in main part of palace All this rooms need minimum 10-15 minutes to explain and visit all decoration and wall painting cell painting and ....

The director of this palace make kind of crazy plan and that is 45 minutes time for all that palace And one important things is inside palace people can just see the wall and painting But no any furniture 🪑 no any spoon and eating table and no any details and learning room bathroom and nothing els can see there

And about that long painting on the wall “11x4m “ they put it inside dark corridor from one side is light from window and other side the painting too much dark that no body can see all details of that they did not add special light for such amazing paint first to keep it more better and other side visitor can to visit that paint with all detail there I have picture of that paint u can see and understand what about i explain

About hall room “saal raum “ 80m long each side of wall as one picture of one important person in that area Tour guide explain about just 3-4 person and explain about interior designer and painting on celling and when u check old picture of this room can see many decorations inside room but the time i was there i did not see anythings there and not enough time to check all picture

Last part they even doesn’t allow to visit king and queen room to check how was their lifestyle

At the end i dont think price is high actually 2 different ticket 1 for garden and 1 for palace is a bit much but i dont thing the time they arrange for visit is enough

I will visit this place again But i hope they can to give more better...

Well, as typical unprepared tourists, we decided to visit Ludwigsburg as a short day trip via the S-Baun from Stuttgart. We saw the photos and basic information on Google Trips, but that's about it. We arrived at the front gardens area, with the palace in the background, and assumed that was the way to go in. We paid 9 euro each to enter the gardens. This is a nice, large, well manicured area, but nothing extraordinary. Based on reviews I've read, however, many people would disagree with me. There were some good photo ops with pretty flowers and shrubs, and the palace. Unfortunately, in front of the palace there happened to be a bunch of circus tents obscuring the view because there was, well, a children's circus being presented. Bad timing.

Anyway, after wondering around for an hour in the hot sun on a very warm summer afternoon, we wanted to get into the palace, but this is where being typically unprepared tourists was a problem. We finally figured out how to get to the path leading to the palace entrance (and some needed toilets). This is when we discovered that the entrance fee to the gardens is separate from the entrance fee to the palace. Luckily, walking around the courtyard of the palace is free, and that was somewhat interesting.

However, by this time we were tired, hot, and hungry. We didn't have a big urge to pay for and view another historical building and museums, so we didn't go in, though I'm sure it would have been lovely! Therefore, I have nothing to report regarding the interior of the Ludwigsburg Residential Palace and its various themed museums and the tour experience. That's right, you read this whole review only to find out that I have no advice or opinion about what's inside. Sorry about that.

In conclusion, we paid 9 euro each to see some pretty flowers, circus tents, and bake in the sun. I'm being sarcastic, of course, as it's my fault for not preparing more. The gardens actually are very nice, but not really worth the cost, in my opinion (although I have a feeling that there may have been other garden areas around the palace that we didn't get to). The palace exterior is also very palace-like and a worthwhile view, but it's probably better to skip the gardens and just go to the palace if the palace is your...

not worth it at ALL and hers why: 1- NO taking pictures at all only at the beginning of the tour🤣 2- when you go on tour from room to room the tour guide keeps opening doors and closing them after you like am i going inside a vault thats full of gold and diamonds ?? never have i ever went to a palace/musuem or a mansion that kept opening and closing doors with a key after me!🤣 3- besides not taking pictures you cant take your phone/jacket or your own bag with you !🤣 should i take my shoes off and walk barefoot as well???😀 4- although i payed for the tour with the guide it all was for seeing HALF the palace ONLY not all of it!! and no one mentioned that! imagine that 😂 5- the funniest thing there is a seperate ticket for the palace and a seperate ticket for the gardens and NO you can not buy a one ticket for both you have to buy seperate tickets for both -.- where are we living people 1800?? FURTHERMORE the entrance for the palace is ONLY A ONE ENTRY&EXIT not multiple entrees unlike the gardens they had thousands of entrees and exits! its like they are forcing you to buy both 🤣 6- in the guided tour there was a baby 6months or so that kept crying and screaming why .. why would you take your own baby to a palace?! it should be forbidden to have a baby in a guided tour in a palace like that!! people couldnt focus on what the tour guide was saying!

LASTLY the only two good things was first the beautiful chapel and the theatre inside as for the other parts it was very very ordinary not worth to have a rule to not take pictures!🤣 and second the parking was on sunday and it was free. so if you dont mind all of what i mentioned then enjoy it but as for me? waste of...
