Freundschaftsinsel — Attraction in Potsdam

A beautiful island for everyone including dogs. A fantastic playground with a water pump, play ships in a nice setting.

The floral and botanical gardens are very beautiful, the fountains. We also love that dogs are allowed, obviously on a leash. They also have reading sessions for kids in the gardens. I've attached this year's program.

The island cafe is ok, I dont find the food fits that lovely place. Lots of families come here with kids and elderly people, it could be much healthier in a way offering more food like sandwiches, baguettes, pasta, pizza and cakes and ice cream. Well, the view is lovely and it's a good place to have a break.

A must visit...

This little island has a lovely garden of flowers and lillies to walk through as you head toward the playground. There is a coffee shop as well as a public toilet on the island. The playground has a nice variety of equipment for children. My daughter and I enjoyed an hour out on a paddle boat pulling up to ducks, along the trees, and searching for flowers in the lilly pads. Ein Ort der immer wieder schön ist , man kann am Wasser sitzen und die Enten beobachten oder sich auch einfach in die gepflegte Anlage setzen auch zur jeder Jahreszeit zu empfehlen jetzt momentan ist es schön zwischen den Rosen zu sitzen tolle Duftrosen, was ich noch sehr schön finde das die meisten Pflanzen sogar mit schildern versehen sind so lernt man auch ein wenig was dazu . Auch einige Beete an Kräuter sind vorhanden so kann man sich mit denen auch vertraut machen, die Freundschaftsinsel hat auch einen sehr sehr schönen und großen Spielplatz wo man mit seinen Kindern die Zeit verbringen kann .
