PETER PANE Burgergrill & Bar — Restaurant in Potsdam

This is far from the first time that I am going to this Peter Pan over the last 5 years but it went worst over the last months, here is why : Yesterday I went for dinner last night with my colleagues after work and took a promotional Peter's Abendsmenü with an avocado burger, Süßkartoffeln Pommes and a Peter lemonade for a total of 26e(much for too expensive compared to other burger restaurants in the city center). The "promotion" is basically the normal price but they remove you the 2.5e sauce that you would normally get with fries so you can save 1.5e (scam alert ! Don't take the menu). 12-25e for a solo burger (I paid 14e for mine) without side dish is much too expensive ! And the burger price is not even part of the promotion ! 8.5e for an half portion of sweet potatoes solo , and an additional 2.5e if you take the promotion make no sense when you already pay that much a burger !Additionally the prices of the burger menus in Google maps are outdated and do not reflect their real price . Tuesday Afternoon, Marty is the only waiter for about 30 min, he is overwhelmed, he ignores customers at the door, he looses patience with customers that need an extra minute to think their decision, rude behaviour, I dont understand if you dont want to work on a service area why wait tables, get in the kitchen you get to swear about customers over there, customers go to places like this to experience a good time not been rushed and look down by every single detail, stop treating customers like you are making them a favour by allowing them to spend their money at the place you work on, I sure the owner would have hated to be served the way he did. I worked on hospitality for nearly 20 years, if you want tips on how to train staff i can give a thesis size list, definitely come back for the food but the service really needs to improve, remember you need customers for a business to thrive, stop turning people away with poor service...

Peter Pane is a very good place. First of all, the food is very good. Our burgers were incredible and as a vegetarian or vegan you have many options too. My vegan burger was delicious. Secondly, the personal are so kind. Our waiter sat down with us to ask about our menu and we laughed a lot all together. The girl who drove us to our table was very kind and smiling too. So in general the crew makes people feel very good. The burger's price is good but the water's is so expensive (however we saw it's very expensive in all the restaurants and supermarkets in Germany. As a Spanish girl, it shocked me in general). Finally, The decoration is cool and the toillets very clean and cool too. So if one day I come back to Potsdam, I will go to Peter Pane again. I...
