Aquarium — Attraction in Stuttgart

The aquarium at Wilhelma in Stuttgart is truly one of the highlights of the zoo and a wonderful experience for visitors of all ages. It offers a wide variety of fish and marine species from around the world, displayed in spacious and well-maintained tanks. The whole area is very clean, beautifully designed, and creates a calm atmosphere that makes you want to spend more time exploring.

What impressed me most was the diversity of animals. You can see colorful tropical fish, larger marine species, fascinating reptiles, and even amphibians in the connected sections. The coral reef tanks are especially stunning, full of bright colors and movement, while the seahorses were a real favorite for my children. Every tank is presented with great attention to detail, and the lighting makes the experience even more enjoyable.

Another strong point is the educational value. The information boards are available in both German and English, which is very helpful for international visitors. They provide clear explanations about the habitats, diets, and natural environments of the animals. It’s not just entertaining but also very informative.

What makes it even better is that the aquarium is included in the regular zoo ticket – no extra entrance fee is needed.

The location is excellent via the U14 train. If you take the train duing the period between 1 March and 1 October, keep and show your ticket to get a full admission credit (1 person) from the admission. The employees speak English.

Sono stato in questo punto dello zoo e giardino biologico Wilhelma con la mia ragazza in occasione di una vacanza a Stoccarda. La sezione degli acquari si trova sotto al parchetto con gli stagni delle ninfee ed è nella parte finale del percorso segnato. Qui si possono vedere numerose vasche con i diversi tipi di pesci e piante acquatiche.
