If you habe kids or u go with ur grandchiöd, than it is a must be. It's so amazing. You can admirer extimct whale and a lot of otheranimaös. The whale is hanging from the top and u can listen an audio guide with laser lights that show u the parts. Not to lo g so that Kids can follow. If u Donut know if it is the right thing for the youngsters, i guess wedsnday afternoon the entgangen is Freeware. Giveit a try. And of course the kids want gadget, you not

Insgesamt etwas schwächer als am Löwentor, allerdings bei dem Preis von 1€ mehr bei Kombi Ticket verschmerzbar. Es lohnt sich dieses eher als zweites zu besuchen, da man dann nicht den Berg hinauf laufen muss, zudem hat es eine Stunde länger geöffnet. Das Museum selbst ist modern und zeitgemäß gestaltet, allerdings ist man recht schnell durch die Ausstellung, es gibt auch nur eine Etage. Einige Exponate sind beeindruckend, insbesondere der große Wal und ein paar andere, die Erklärungen sind jeweils auch gut, wobei es nicht überall wirklich ausführliche Erklärungen gibt. Im Vergleich zum Naturkundemuseum Karlsruhe gibt es hier keine lebendenden Tiere und die künstlich gestalteten Bereiche sind zwar schön angelegt, aber halt auch nichts wo man sich besonders lange aufhält. Vom ursprünglichen Schloss wurde nur die Originalfassade wiederhergestelt und der zentrale Säulengang, ansonsten wurde alles an den Museumsbetrieb angepasst. Wer hier erwartet etwas in diese Richtung zu sehen, wird eher enttäuscht. Dennoch insgesamt schönes Gebäude. In Kombi mit dem Museum am Löwentor lohnt es sich (gehört ja auch zusammen) für sich gesehen fällt das Museum etwas ab, da man recht schnell durch ist und im Vergleich zum Museum am Löwentor etwas der "wow" Effekt fehlt.

To reach here by car is only possible by walking. You can use the park place of Zoo Wilhelma then 15 minutes mid-range upright walking. Great museum especially for kids. There are two different museum here. Naturkunde and Museum am Löwentor. You can get a combined ticket by paying 1€ additionally. Distance between the museums is 20 minutes by walking. You can also enjoy very nice garden outside.

Rosenstein Castle (German: Schloss Rosenstein) is a palace in Stuttgart, Germany. It was designed in the classical style by the architect and court builder Giovanni Salucci (1769–1845) as the summer palace for King Wilhelm I of Württemberg and was built between 1822 and 1830. Today, the building houses that part of the State Museum of Natural History Stuttgart dealing with extant lifeforms.

Amazing place for a day trip - There is free parking available for museum visitors -There are two museums - one for Natural Science History with dinosaurs and mammoths and all and another one museum with current animals , birds, insects of the natural world! - There is a huge park in between the two museums, around 15 minutes walk - There is an awesome playground for children of all ages.

The staff treated us well by giving the info in English. I thought i shd pay 1 euro for this museum if i have the other museum ticket but i think they have increased the fee, the staff took 2 euro per person, which is fine. The place is good and informative. Being Agriculturist i loved the insect section. Would have loved if the information was in English.
