Very beautiful spot to observe Town of Eberbach. Before climbing to the tower, you should read the information deck about Der Ohrsberg. It is an information about the ancient meander of Neckar River that was flowing around Ohrsberg Hills about 800.000 years ago.

It is also better if you bring google earth in your phone so that you can see the ancient meander river shape that now become the settlements of Eberbach Town.

What is interesting is that in this ancient meander sediment, canines of Cave Bear was found which indicating the area was the habitat...

Netter Aussichtsturm in Eberbach. Wir gehen dort gerne mit unserem Hund laufen. Am Friedhof kann man parken, dann führt ein Weg in den Wald bis zum Turm. Etwas Anstieg aber alles machbar. Es ist dort auch ein schöner Panorama Rundweg ausgeschildert. Der Turm an sich wurde 1970 gebaut als nix Historisches. Allerdings sieht man oben noch Überreste der Ohrsburg. Glaube die war aus der Stauffer Zeit. Wir laufen von uns aus eine 3 km Wanderung durch Eberbach über den Ohrsberg. Sollte jeder Mal gemacht haben der in Eberbach Station macht! ⛰️🥾🌲☀️😃👍🏻
