As part of the guided tour, we got to experience this nice architecture. It’s well designed with versatile functionality with a mixed of Japanese culture, such as the step after the door and the walkway to a bathroom.

Das Konferenzgebäude auf dem Vitra Campus entstand 1993 durch den japanischen Star-Architekten Tadao Ando, auch ein Pritzker-Preisträger, der hier ein Gebäude schuf, das Japanische Tradition mit Europäischem Anspruch meisterhaft verbindet. In einem Kirschbaum-Hain führt ein meditativer schmaler Weg zum Eingang und von dort in wunderbar stille Räume. Gedanken können sich entwickeln, Kommunikation entfalten. Konzentration auf das Wesentliche, die Kraft des Bauwerks überträgt sich auf uns und führt uns zu unseren spirituellen Wurzeln.
