Grandview Surf Beach — Attraction in Encinitas

We stumbled upon this beauty by accident. We were driving from San Diego to WeHo and wanted to watch the sunset. We were trying to find a public access beach but ended up on a dead end street that led us here. We were able to jump out and find the steps and watch the last few secs of the sun setting. I was truly in awe at the captivating beauty of this beach. We had no idea what we had found. The steps that lead to the beach are right on the cliffside and lead right down to the pristine sandy beach. There was quite a few others admiring the scenery. I would definitely check this place out. Beware however, steps are the only way to access this area and there is quite a few flights and they can be steep to some. If stairs arent your thing, this isn't the place for you. There is a parking lot but it doesnt fit many cars at all. The rest of the area is residential so I'm not sure where you would park other wise. Parking is free and so is access to the beach. Go ahead...go take a look..let's...

This Location is incredible.. There is a total of over 500 steps that lead down to the beach... In a great neighborhood in San Diego County called leucadia which is in the North county by the ocean.... I put a video of this on my Instagram which you can check my IG name is conansagart... So with these 500 steps you get to do great cardio or if you like you can go to the ocean and go surfing if not you can just walk on the beach or you get the fresh ocean breezes as you breathe in those ionic minerals with the sea salt which is very invigorating for your entire well being.... You will definitely feel better after you leave...

This is actually a really beautiful, secret little spot in Carlsbad. It was about Dusk and I didn't see any signs with there is an open parking lot to the right of that opening there. It's right next to this apartment complex but it seemed open to the public. The tide was so high at this point we couldn't go all the way down but I know that you could if you did want to have a beach day in a secluded area. This is the place and it's so beautiful at night.
