Proti Ammoudia beach — Attraction in Aristotle Municipality

We absolutely loved this beach! The water was so crystal clear that it reminded us of all the photos from the Maldives. It really felt different than the other beaches we’ve been to.

The beach bar is perfectly fine but the prices are slightly higher (the white frappe was €4 and the beer €5). However, the sun beds are comfortable and require only consummation. There are also some bigger areas for 5 people and they require €50 consummation. The music is very nice and the staff is kind. If you want, you can take a beautiful walk across the shore.

The toilet is a bit far away from the bar and it’s not in perfect state but at least there was some toilet paper. The 4G/5G wasn’t really working on our phones (maybe because the area is rather private). The sea is also very deep - a few steps in and you no longer...

Pleasantly surprised with the beach. Parking is wild but there's enough place for everyone (not sure on weekends though) and not that far from the road. Water is crystal clear and warm this time of the year. It starts to go deep pretty fast but even so it's not that bad for kids. There are a lot of families with kids so somebody is always there. Sand is nice and grainy, not that many rocks. There is a beach bar which charges for the sunbeds. Wooden ones are 30-40e, and the regular ones are 10-20e. There are also free ones in the middle and back but you gotta order drinks. The prices are affordable. Left and right of the beach bar is free territory where you can put down your chairs and towels. Enough room...

The beach is superb! Blue water, white sand with bigger grit, the entrance in water is very sharp (after 3-4 m the water passes above your head). For the snorkeling fans it is perfect as the sand creates a good contrast to observe the sea life (I even saw an octopus). However, there's garbage everywhere, the parking area is basically a grabage dump, probably thanks to those 50 tents that are always there among the trees. Some of the "tent inhabitants" think that its their personal beach so they don't shy away from playing very loud music that will f.u your "relaxing" stay.
