Very nice beach. The water is crystal clear when no winds but if there's a breeze you can have a nice wave in the first line o sun beds. There are two types of sun beds (clasic ones - blue ones) minimum consumption 20💶) and some more fancy (minum order 50💶). Nice frappe, tasty burgers and cold beers). Good quality for the drinks and food. All in all nice location. But now here comes the ugly part that ruined our whole experience. Staff is not polite and they tend to set a bias on you. We opted for the premium sunbeds after we received an explanation from one staff member that first line of sunbeds (blue ones) were reserved and there are free only the 50 euro ones. We said ok because we want one of this. We picked one and installed ourselves. Then another person comes saying that we can't sit there because they are reserved. But we can opt for the cheaper ones. 3 hours later still no one occupied them. I stopped caring about this at some point in the day so I don't know when the sunbeds were occupied. End of the day resume: 85 euros bill ( way over minimum set by location). So nice location but bad personnel that discriminates you by...
Read moreAmmos is a beach near Olympiada! To go there you should go out the main road and drive into non-asphalted road which is not so flat. The lower cars might have problems reaching and better park up aside the main road! Luckily we are with SUV so no problems. Down there the park places are not much and are mostly among trees. The sand is very good, the water is turquoise! But it is not quite suitable for kinds under 10 yo. It get easily deep. 20 meters away in the water and it is already till the neck deep of grown adult. There are about 200 umbrellas organized beach and some free zone. So many umbrellas are covered by 3-4 young boys and girls serving so do not expect to be fast! Now imagine 200 umbrellas two sunbeds each that is 400 people + free zone … let’s say 600 and that 20 meters shallow water line turns into humans soup in the early afternoon hours :-). The food is good - we’ve tried sandwiches only and drinks are ok. It is a little overpricing comparing with nearest Olympiada. Toilets are chemistry (mobile) ones. We’ve seen worse than...
Read moreVery unpleasant place and staff. We come in the morning, sit under the umbrellas, order. After half an hour, suddenly those umbrellas were occupied, for which "we are very "sorry". You can only pay by card at the bar. We will never step foot here again, Greek thing! On top of that, the beach is full of supposedly luxurious sunbeds, on which you have to have a mandatory consumption of over 40 euros to sit. The restorant part is full disaster too. You order lunch, sit down, they make you pay immediately, even before they have brought you the food. With a card you have to go to the bar again. Super inadequate waitresses. They give me a note, I pay, then they come again to bother us - the note and the amount were different. And there is also constant background music, and the same thing plays all day, we learned it by heart. It is full of other beaches, 13,000 km of beach in Greece, not...
