I visited here middle of September 2019. The beach near to the Taverns was busy, but not too busy unlike the beaches in the opposite side of the peninsula where we are staying. Sun beds didn't try but most places are free as long as you have a drink to give them some business.
To the North: There is a small fishing dock and immediately after us s small sandy bay, probably really good fit smaller children to enjoy the sea as it was really calm there. Very sandy beach too. Take your own beach umbrella etc.
To the South: The road/pavement is all broken up. Trip hazards await!! Still sandy but more pebble here (as has most of the beaches on this peninsula). Even fewer people here.

Read moreThe best town to go to in this region of Halkidiki, it has everything you would need. I posted some photos and a video in the town to see what is it about and what can you visit. The biggest beach here has rocks in the water so you would need water shoes. There are also sunbeds and enough bars and restaurants nearby. There is a small beach near the port that has sand in the water and that is my recommendation for all. As for food you can find anything you would want at the restaurants...
