Avoid this restaurant. Very unprofessional and bad customer service. Most restaurants and beach bars in Greece offer free sun beds and umbrellas if you consume some drinks and food for more than 20-30 Euros per day. My wife and me came around noon time to the establishment. I went inside and specifically asked the manager / server. Can we use yours two sun beds and umbrella with the promise to have lunch around 1 PM? The answer was YES. We spent nearly 60 Euros for lunch, left a reasonable tip and went to the sun beds. Less than 10 minutes after having lunch the same person who gave me permission to use the sun beds came and said that we have to consume more or we have to pay 14 Euros extra for 2 sun beds.. For me this is very offensive since I specifically asked and kept my promise to have lunch at this restaurant. All this happened in the middle of September when is the end of the season and only 30 % of the sun beds were occupied. I will never return to this...
Read moreLook, I don't want to be mean but this is not 4.8 stars restaurant. It was crowded, ok, but they absolutely ignored for a long time our table of two. Maybe the big fish or the seafood are ok, I don't know, we only ordered fried gavros (which you can't go wrong with too much) and which we took home because it came after we finished everything else and our drinks and they already gathered the plates off the table. But the bouyourdy and the grilled eggplant with feta were wrong. My guess is they use cheap ingredients. That wasn't feta. Probably some kind of cheap white cheese lookalike. The eggplant was not tasty. So, decide for yourselves. To many taverns with more than 4.5 stars and good reviews. Maybe people on holidays are less critic. I like to enjoy my food. I didn't. And I wasn't in a hurry, so that wouldn't have been a problem if I would have...
Read moreThe location is one of the best features, dining by the sea always works and the people serving were very nice and accommodating. We ordered a number of main courses and the portions for saganaki prawns and grilled prawns looked adequate however not the same could be said for the grilled octopus and grilled calamari dishes, there was not enough in the plates for an adult or even a child. Two small octopus tentacles are not enough for a main course! Not even for a tapas or meze dish. Unfortunately this has become a norm for most of the fish taverns in the area, they have become nothing more than tourist traps. Very frustrating and disappointing experience, I am a local and the place was recommended by a local. If these people expect from a family of four to pay 145 euros for a dinner, they need to show some...
