Hohlakas Beach — Attraction in Municipality of Kalymnos

Small pepple beach with a few sunchairs and umbrellas for (2017) 7€ for 2 chairs and one umbrella, in the late afternoon/evening for free. Even in the summer not crowded! It's the only beach on telendos with sun till evening and sunset. The wind is coming mostly from the open sea so bigger waves should be expected. Some rocks in the water and around, so good for diving. Much less seagrass than at the other beaches on telendos. Fun , inexpensive day trip on ferry ( 10 min / 3 euro ) . Good hike up and over to beach . Good water and colors. They must have replaced the day beds , they looked new . No facilities . Bardzo ładna plaża, idealna do snurkowania – szczególnie po prawej stronie przy skałach. Woda jest czysta, a prądy łagodne, więc mimo czasami dużych fal można spokojnie pływać. Leżaki są dostępne w cenie 10 euro za zestaw.

Ze względu na lokalizację utrzymanie czystości nie jest łatwe. Podejście jest dosyć strome, dlatego warto, aby goście zabierali wszystkie swoje rzeczy ze sobą na górę, gdzie znajdują się kosze na śmieci.

Plaża ma ogromny potencjał – gdyby udało się postawić tam bar, prysznic oraz poprawić część zestawów do opalania, z pewnością byłaby bardzo oblegana. Jednak ze względu na trudną lokalizację realizacja takich zmian nie jest prosta.

Obecnie panuje tu spokój i cisza. Pod parasolami można znaleźć cień, odpocząć na leżakach i delektować się wyjątkowym dźwiękiem toczących się po brzegu kamieni.Co nie jest takie oczywiste w przypadku...
