Plaka Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Kalymnos

Disclaimer did not try any fish that most people say was very good and fresh. The pizza was the worst I've ever had, I informed it was not fresh but the taste of the dough was really awful. The owner was indifferent when I informed him saying that people congratulate hi over this pizza(!) There were few vegeterian options some of which were frozen and other overpriced. Salad was ok and schnitzel mediocre. Even fries were greasy. The place it self is nice but food was disappointing and expensive. As for owner's reply, if something is mediocre or not related to the restaurant cuisine you can have it removed instead of blaming customers...

Location and view night and day is amazing.. owner and staff so friendly and make you feel welcome... beer cold and very refreshing, wine good and well priced.. OMG the food is out of this world, not sure of the name but to start we had garlic bread with a spicy cheese that you spread over your bread woooow amazing and had galeos fish and calamari which was equally nice.. 150% recommend this...

Out of the 2 restaurants I visited on this island, this is the best. Nice location, looking at the sea and at the moored boats. Service was friendly and well done. Most important, fish dishes were good, maybe a bit too cooked but qualitatively above average. Price was quite cheap and white...
