I attended a concert here march 7th,2024. The drive to the Olympic sports center was excruciating, the traffic was awful, it took 3/4 hour to move a few hundred meters. I found the parking terrible, no one knew where to go and you end up parking miles away from your entrance. Once at the entrance gate we had to wait in an unorganised, hectic line that took another 10 minutes to navigate. There are a few food stalls outside selling, hot dogs, souvlaki, bbq corn & cold water. Once we got through the gate, we had to navigate alot of stairs, before we actually got inside to the stadium. We found the seats very narrow and uncomfortable. There are a few places inside that sell popcorn & drinks. During the intermission I visited the women's bathrooms, the line was very long & once inside the toilets were dirty, with dirty toilet paper piled up beside the toilet. I then went to wash my hands and there was no soap or paper towels to dry my hands. Because of the terrible ride into the stadium, we actually left 20 minutes before the end of the show so that we wouldn't get stuck in traffic on our way out. That being said, the actual stadium is...

What once appeared to be a wonderful sports and training area is now an "abandoned" marvel. They're barely performing any kind of maintenance nowadays, the stadiums face a lot of problems including bad air conditioning units, dripping rooftops, bad floors. The teams playing at the big soccer and basketball stadiums are planning to move to other stadiums of their own. Once that happens, I'm pretty sure everything will go haywire very fast and I'm afraid that they'll leave things to rust like the other arenas and buildings built in the hunt for Athens 2004...

As it is the country's biggest stadium hosting major football games and musical events such the red hot or the iron maiden concerts you expect the highest level treatment. Speaking of treatment in big events I can't say that I've had experienced it as I always get ordinary tickets. It Depends on how the wind blows and how much they've spent on the organisation and sponsorships. Being there tens of times my overall experience was satisfying however, it's difficult to find parking whether in the stadium area or in the neighborhoods around +...

I had really wanted to be here for the 2004 Games, but it didn't work out. It was cool to see the sites and venues that I watched the competition on TV. The size of the complex and buildings is surprising. They are in far greater disrepair than I'd expect for 14 years old, though maybe some of the buildings are older than that. They are still using most of the buildings which is nice to see. I am disappointed that I didn't see the Olympic rings hanging anywhere around the complex other than in the second largest tennis stadium.
