Tavronitis beach — Attraction in Municipality of Platanias

This beach is ideal for those who prefer a quiet and laid back place to enjoy the sea with their family. There are no sandy parts and it is mostly comprised of thick gravel but that could be a plus if you don't like the mess that comes with thin sand. Pebbly and not much going on. It's the closest to me so it's where I walk my dog daily. Since there is no sand the water is crystal clear, great for swimming, wear water shoes/sandals. Just down the end to the right is a cool Taverna/apartments Haridimos, reviewed earlier. I usually take my dog there for a beer or two...
