Absolutely unacceptable experience – avoid this place.

We booked a room via Booking.com and were shocked by what we encountered. The first room was visibly filthy, with no basic hygiene standards. We reported this immediately and were offered a second room – which was in even worse condition.

Staff refused to clean the room, issue a refund, or offer any kind of discount. Instead, we were told to leave and that the manager would refund us the next day – we received nothing.

Even worse: we overheard staff openly mocking us in Greek to other guests or locals, calling us “malaka” – a vulgar insult meaning “idiot.” This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior from any hospitality provider.

We had to leave the property and book a different hotel at our own expense. Now that we’ve reviewed other guest comments, it’s clear we’re not alone – there are multiple reports of the same tactics: dirty rooms, false refund promises, verbal abuse, and zero accountability.

Top notch service! I really had a wonderful stay and can recommend anyone staying here. For me the highlight was the staff that were always around and super friendly and hospitable. I felt a genuine sense of welcome.

Location wise it's great, a bit more quiet but by car still very easy to reach things around. It's great that there is a (pebble) beach nearby. While i explored the amazing beaches of crete, it was awesome i could still go for a quick swim.

Only downside was a bit slow wifi (especially upload which made teams call really difficult) and that the air conditioning was turning off when i wasn't there, so only bedroom got cold enough.

La zona è perfetta. A massimo 50km dalle spiagge più belle di Creta ed in posizione tranquillissima a 2 passi dal mare. A piedi è possibile anche raggiungere un paio di taverne dove abbiamo mangiato davvero bene. Il posto è fornito di parcheggio interno, piscina (che arriva fino a 3m), servizio bar aperto sino alle 23 circa ed è immerso nella natura. Il prato all’interno della struttura non è tenuto benissimo, seppur le donne delle pulizie si occupino, con particolare solerzia, dell’innaffiatura delle piante, sicuramente, invece, ci si occupa troppo poco della potatura. Sconsiglio la colazione, per il prezzo pagato non è nulla di che, al contempo i prezzi anche per solo un caffè (€4) sono molto alti. Le camere sono molto spaziose e ben messe, costituite da un’anticamera con divano, la camera da letto ed un bagno (senza bidet). Su nostra richiesta ci sono stati forniti asciugacapelli e ferro da stiro, inoltre la struttura dispone di una stanza deputata a lavanderia, con lavatrici e asse da stiro. Purtroppo non abbiamo gradito troppo il servizio, nonostante le donne delle pulizie si fossero dimostrate super disponibili ad ogni nostra richiesta. Infatti la camera non è mai stata pulita, è sempre e solo stato rifatto il letto, le asciugamani e gli accappatoi ci venivano cambiati solo su nostra espressa richiesta nonostante magari ci venissero ritirati perché a terra. Dopo qualche giorno, sul lavandino, abbiamo trovato delle piccole formiche che, ovviamente, nonostante fossero state da noi allontanate una prima volta, sono più volte tornate, arrivando ad occupare anche la superficie superiore del frigorifero. Sicuramente sono comparse data la scarsa pulizia della camera, magari attirate da sabbia e polvere che un cliente, non disponendo degli strumenti per occuparsi della pulizia, non può provvedere...
