Sykias Beach — Attraction in Municipality of Sithonia

Great beach for a peaceful vacation. Suitable for families with young children. Shallow water has a very long path. Not crowded, even on the weekends. Has few restaurants and a shop along the promenade. Water was clean and the weather was ideal with temperatures around 31°C. If you need a doctor or pharmacy, you should go to Sarti. Read Greek newspaper online before arrival to check the weather/fire risks. There was a traffic ban for all vehicles that lasted for 3 days before we came here, this was a part of fire risk...

A very spacious place where one can find peace and quiet. The sand is nice, the water is clean. Without too many waves. There are plenty of fishes 🐟 and you can do snorkeling. There are some beach bars nearby but the general aspect of the beach remains quite wild. Car acces is very easy and one can easily get to nearby restaurants such as "5 steps in the sand" where you can find very good food. Not far from this place is also Goa beach, another place...
