Previously to write this review, I read the past reviews as well and I realize that is a place that either you love or hate. At the beginning, we have to understand that there is a small family business that are working every day from 9:30 to 20:00 - so sometimes they may be tired and may seem not as polite as one expects. The young lady from the beach (the niece) may seem pushy in the morning, especially on weekend when it becomes crowded. One of the two sons who is serving on the beach as well is nice and friendly. They have approx 35 umbrellas and the most comfortable sunbeds in the area. They are free and you pay for the drinks (which is ok for what you get). They have cold draught beer, which you do not find at the most known beaches nearby. The food is good, mostly very common cuisine than Greek cuisine. I understood that in the past years it was a good fish restaurant as well, but they adapted to the customer’s expectations and demands. The mother is cooking. They have a volleyball net installed, so it is a nice way to end a hot afternoon. Cocktails are good and the barman (the other one of the two sons) is very nice. The entrance in the water is smooth, perfect for small kids who do not know how to swim. Overall, the best experience for families or group of friends who want to spend the whole day at the beach. Not so good for the ones who want to come in the morning, stay for one hour and drink a bottle of small water at 0,50 euros and then leave the towels for the whole day on the sunbeds to go elsewhere and come in the evening to have a quick bath and leave. Afterall, we have to respect their...
Read moreWe visited Korali Beach Bar on a Sunday and had a really enjoyable beach day overall. The place was more crowded than we initially expected, which I think contributed to some of the minor issues we encountered, but nothing that significantly impacted our experience.
The staff here really stood out in the best way possible. The workers were incredibly friendly and refreshingly not pushy at all - a quality that can be rare at busy beach bars. Even with the Sunday crowd, they maintained their welcoming attitude and didn’t make us feel rushed or pressured to order more.
The beach umbrellas, while functional, don’t provide the most comprehensive shade coverage. They’re adequate for basic sun protection, but if you’re looking for maximum shade comfort, you might want to bring additional sun protection or position yourself strategically.
Despite the crowds and the umbrella situation, we genuinely enjoyed our time at this beautiful beach. The atmosphere was relaxed, the location is stunning, and the friendly service made up for any minor inconveniences. I would definitely recommend Korali Beach Bar to anyone looking to enjoy this awesome beach. It’s a solid choice for a beach day, especially if you appreciate good service and don’t mind a livelier atmosphere. Just maybe avoid peak times like Sunday afternoons if you prefer a quieter...
Read moreThe staff is aggressive, we stayed at their beach bar starting at 9am. They came at 9:30am. We had a lot of drinks on the beach, and in the afternoon we wanted to eat a pizza at the tavern next to theirs. At that moment, the old manager started arguing with us, even fighting. They forced us to pack our things and leave the beach. Just because we wanted to eat a pizza, because they didn't have pizza on the menu. As for the food, you can only find burgers, some pasta and salads... The prices are higher for food compared to other places. I don't understand why they are so aggressive.
You forgot to be more polite to your customers like real Greeks. Where is the Greek hospitality? You are blinded by profit mocking your customers, through absurd obligations. Until you understand that we are on vacation and that we are not your prisoners, I assure you that I will never set foot in your place again and I will tell everyone about your lack of manners. You are uneducated. You have no business in such a beautiful area!
I forgot to mention that their beach area was full of...
