Taverna Zambakos — Restaurant in Municipality of Sithonia

Great food experience, very nice place and fair prices. Always fresh food and fast serving. They also have some homemade things that are really great. The view is amazing, right on the beach. Surprisingly there is no tax for the sunbeds, you can buy some coffee, juice or water an use the sunbeds. The owner is very friendly and always willing to help you. There are a couple of taverns close by, but the taste of the food doesn't compare. We ate here almost everyday and everytime we were received with a big smile. I would recommend this tavern...

Great service from the owners. Very cozy atmosphere, not so many tables, great view over the harbour. Food was not great though...Cod fish was soaked in oil (probably cooked at low temperature), grilled squid was hard as a rock, fried squid was very fried to burnt (no gold colour rather dar brown). Gyros was good. Toilets had filthy sinks, there are good cleaning products these days to remove old dirt, leaves such a bad impression, pls clean it! Overall quality can be improved and will not return despite...

We went here after reading the reviews, and we were very happy to come back almost every day of our vacation, even if it was a 25-minute drive from our stay. We absolutely loved the food, and I can honestly say it is one of the best taverns we have ever been to in Greece (12 Island and 5 major inland cities visited). Congratulations on the quality of the food served here, and I really hope I will come...
