Bouka Beach — Attraction in Zakynthos Municipality

Some of the beach appears to be owned by hotels so the sunbeds aren't for public use. I went to an area (you have to walk along a wooden walkway for a little while) with no sunbeds and just sat on the sand with the wall behind me which offered some shade. The water was obviously super warm and once you're over the stones it's sandy and very shallow. Nice, but narrow beach, partially sandy and partially with stones. It's not crowded. The entrance to water is very flat and without sharp objects so you can easily walk in barefoot. Most of the length is operated by bars, restaurants and hotels and there is quite a lot of sunbeds with umbrellas, however you'll probably need to pay for them one way or another. Lovely safe shallow sloping beach. I did see a sea urchin but that was quite far out near the rock defences to the right end of beach. Such crystal clear water a few stones and big boulders in water. There are toilets bit were not open as we visited on 27th October when hotel next to beach was closed. Loved snorkeling and looking at fishes...
