KALPAKA TRAVELS — Attraction in Bengaluru

Crew namr :JOSE TRAVEL DATE :06/07/2025 BUS NUMBER:3320 Ihave been working in Bangalore for the past 6 years. Whenever I come on leave, I always travel to Cheruvathur by Kalpaka. But yesterday’s journey was the worst experience I’ve ever had, especially in terms of staff behaviour. The person’s name was Jose. The bus was 20 minutes late to reach Kengeri. Five Kalpaka buses came at the same time, and due to the traffic, there was a lot of confusion in identifying which was mine.

When I asked about it, he responded rudely. When I got into the bus and checked my seat, someone else was lying down there. When I tried to speak up about it, he was rude again and spoke harshly.

Even after crossing Payyannur, the bus was still late. They didn’t care about the passengers; instead, the staff went off to have tea while we were made to wait at Kallikkadavu. It was such a careless and irresponsible situation. I had an urgent reason for travel.

And to top it all, for the first time ever, I was made to get down outside the stand instead of inside. I wouldn’t have minded paying extra cash, but I’ll never travel with them...

We recently traveled to Kannur on this bus and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Although we were just 10 minutes late, the helper’s behavior towards us was extremely rude and unprofessional. If this is how passengers are treated, it raises serious concerns about customer service standards. I strongly urge the management to train staff—especially helpers—on how to treat passengers with basic respect and courtesy. While I understand that not everyone may be well-trained initially, it’s essential to recruit individuals who can behave respectfully and represent the service in a positive light

Very bad experience with Kalpaka travel office Bangalore, My friend travelled from Bangalore to Kuthuparamba yesterday ( 10th Sep 2024) , scheduled arriving time was 4.30 and since they have not reached home after 7am, their parents called me to check and when I called kalpaka office, the person was so rude and told the bus already passed kuthuparamba and they dont know where my friend went and they will not check this.

After 30 min I came to know there was an accident occured in Maakuttam churam and all vehicles are trapped. Since there was no network coverage they were unable to connect.

The way kalpaka travels response is so annoyed, without checking they are telling the bus already passed...
