Been here yesterday for the very first time. Huge one and neatly organized unlike other baker outlets in Koramangala or Indiranagar. That's the only pro and rest is pathetic. Poor customer service. No one even cares at what you want or nobody assists you to guide us to a proper section to tick our wishlist. A lot of regular baking items were unavailable, so what's the point being a bakers nest, lol?
No price mentioned on 90% of the items, and whatever you wish to buy, you must check it's price from billing counter only. Most of the items are very expensive. For ex, a fondant mat costed me 450 here which I bought one for 350 just a month ago at Indiranagar (sadly misplaced and lost). A muffin tray was priced at 450 which I bought for 250 at other place. Ultimate ripoff.
And then finally when you reach the billing counter, they ask you cash/online payment and scam the cash without GST. They charge GST for card transactions, and you end up paying more...
Read moreUsually buy the baking items at Karanatka Bakers mart at Jayanagar 9th block. Today wanted to try out here but felt complete waste of time The shop is large and many items for display but your experiance at shop having people with very high attitude is far below than any one could expect. As soon as we entered the shop the owner set one guy behind us. I thought it might be a good service. Whatever item we asked one standard answer from that guy ' no we don't have' when we look further the same each we would get what we asked for. At cash counter the way they talk is not warm but makes you feel why at all you have gone there. You ask for price of any item and the answer is not in a good tone. We decided not to buy all the items there just bought for 2k and proceeded back to Karnataka bakers mart to complete our purchases. Not a good place either from price perspective or from...
Read moreAlthough it is good if you want to buy in bulk quantities, it is not recommended for general small time home bakers. Prices are not mentioned on any product and you have to keep running behind the staff to ask price for every single thing which even they won't know n they run to the main person sitting at the counter. Sometimes they just blab whatever price they feel like which clearly doesn't justify the product. Sometimes they quote more than the MRP. For example magic colours is Rs. 100 per bottle but here they said it is Rs. 120. Some products have ridiculous prices and some are priced reasonably I don't understand the way they operate their business but clearly seems unethical. There r many other stores which offer same products at much...
