We visited this lake on a Saturday evening at around 4:30 pm and had to stay in a long queue for boating. It was an overcast day with cool breeze blowing across the face that gave the place a whole different look. while we patiently waited for our turn to book tickets, we saw the sun emerge finally amidst the clouds thereby giving us a glimpse of the beautiful rainbow 🌈. We finally got our turn at 6:30 pm where it fortunately had enough light for us to do boating for 30 mins. Boating was a wholesome experience costing 50 rupees for 30 mins per person, and not allowed for children under 12 years of age. You would be asked to wear life jacket before boarding the boat which is a 4 seater. You have to self drive the boat which is equipped with 2 pedals and a steering to guide the direction. You should not cross the red flags marked across the lake. We went to the middle of the lake to get a beautiful birds eye view of the whole area. It is situated in btm layout and is hence also known as btm lake. You can find many eateries within and outside the premises. Definitely a must visit place.

One of the largest well maintained lake in Bangalore. It's located in BTM. It's very nice to go there for morning walk and yoga. You will easily get yoga trainer here. It's suitable for boating and there are near about 25 boats and each can accommodate 4 person. It's sutaible for bird watching and multiple species of birds can be seen here. Suitable for sunrise. Overall it was very nice experience.

Nice and calm place to sit and relax. Boating is also available for 50₹ per 30 mins. Viewpoint is also good for clicking pictures. Cons: Dirty washrooms with rude maintainers. Though it is a very old park, the development is not upto the mark. There is no proper public toilet, no proper pathway, no safety barricade etc. Once should be very careful when come with kids.

Madiwala Lake, also known as BTM Lake, is a peaceful and green place in the middle of the city. It is perfect for people who want to take a break from their busy lives and enjoy some quiet time. The lake view is very beautiful, especially in the early morning or evening when the sun shines on the water. The place is full of greenery, fresh air, and the sound of birds.

There is a walking path around the lake where many people come for walking, jogging, or running. It’s also common to see people sitting and chatting with friends or family. There are benches and other places to sit, so you can relax and enjoy the calm view. It’s a good spot for peaceful thinking or simply spending time with yourself.

There is also a small park for children, so families with kids can also enjoy some time here. The overall atmosphere is calm and refreshing. Even though it is located in BTM Layout, which is a busy area, the lake still feels quiet and peaceful.

Many people come here just to watch the lake, talk with loved ones, or enjoy the greenery. Some even make it a part of their daily routine. The place is clean and well-maintained, which adds to the experience.

Overall, Madiwala Lake is a great place to relax, walk, and connect with nature. It is simple but special, and you will feel like coming back...
