Who said that you will see the deer just like the so called "unreal" dolphins of Chilka lake? The entry fee is 50 rs (if you are a student, show the school/college id card and it is reduced to 05 rs !) When you enter, you can see deers, in a pack of 8-10, taking their lunch (lunch time is around 3 pm). Next, you can see the "Deer PHC". As you proceed inside, you will be introduced to a lot of deer, and of varieties. There are two watch towers (one of them is closed), where you can take good selfies. I'm sure it will be a fun for you. Edit: It happened to us, that we saw a baby deer crossing the fence and coming on to the road, so we went near and touched it. But it fled away...😅.

The Ballavpur Wildlife Sanctuary, also known as the Deer Park, is a protected area located near Santiniketan in West Bengal, India. Established in 1977, it covers an area of around 200 hectares and is known for its spotted deer population. The sanctuary is home to a variety of other wildlife, including blackbucks, jackals, foxes, and a variety of birds. The park has three large water bodies that attract resident and migratory birds. There are also watchtowers and jungle paths for visitors to explore the sanctuary. If you're visiting Shantiniketan, the Ballavpur Wildlife Sanctuary is a great place to spend a few hours spotting wildlife and enjoying the outdoors.

One of the attractions of Bolpur is Ballabhpur Wildlife Sanctuary. It was built in 1977 on 700 acres of land. Along with this a deer park 🦌 was created where there are about 210 chital deer at present. There are many other types of trees besides sal like pial, sishu, cashew, haritaki, amlaki, bahera, sirish, berry, mahuya, sonajhuri, akashmani, etc. Santiniketan visiters come here once, everyone will like the natural environment of the place and especially the small children will like it. It is located only 3 km away from Bolpur Station. The entrance ticket is 50 rupees for everyone and 5 rupees is for a 12 year old child.🌲🌲🌲

Popularly know as 'Dear Park'. Nice place to spend time with your kids. I would request all of you just go and spend little time with Dears. This wild sanctuary is full of Dears. Please remember you have no other option to see, only Dears. Very well maintained. Nice forest. You can park your car with nominal fees. Adult ticket is little higher, Rs 50 and students and kids for 5-10 rupees. Inside food is not allowed. Silent need be maintained. Couple of tea stalls are there for your refreshments. Little careful if you face with couples lovers. However good place for your kids to spend time. Go and enjoy.
