Mirasol Waterpark — Attraction in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu

I have been to a lot of water parks / resorts but I have to say my visit to mirasol water park today was my first ever worst experience. I have never experienced such a level of miss management anywhere in the past.

We had booked our room at Hotel Miramar. Mirasol waterpark is approximately 2kms from the hotel. We reached the water park at 11 am (IST). First we struggled for parking. They said we have a vallet. We waited for the driver for atleast 15-20 mins. Later we decided to park the car ourselves which was almost 5-7 mins walk from the park. Looking at the size of the crowd we thought let's buy the ticket now but visit the Mirasol Lake first and then in the afternoon we will return to the water park. However, buying tickets was another struggle. Luckily they had 2 queues, one for online payment and one for cash payment. We bought 6 tickets ( 5 adults Rs1100 each and 1 child Rs. 900) via cash payment.

We returned to the water park at 1:30 pm. As soon as we entered inside, we saw never ending queue for lunch. A couple of guys who were managing the queue just left as they were not able to handle the crowd. There were no plates, empty food vessels at the buffet, frustrated people fighting in queue and waiting for plates.

We reached out to multiple members but all the management personnel were just running off with the same dialogue "Mein dekh k aata hu..."

Finally, we went to the cash counter wherein we bought our tickets and after a discussion got our refund.

We understand weekends can be crowded but the management needs to plan for it and accommodate only X number of people in the park whom they can manage.

Entry fee for adult with lunch is 1000 Rs. The price is more than the rides and safety provided. Unsafe conditions. 🔹No antiskid mats are kept in female washroom area, near wave pool, many other walking areas. 🔹They are keeping one ride open at a time so too much crowd at one place on Sunday. 🔹Today in one hour 10 people had injury 😡 on head, face , cheek due to fall on the ride of Tornado. So we force that watchman to close that ride for the safety of the customers. There was not a single dustbin in the whole water park today . So there were so much garbage around. 🔹Even the wave pool inside was also 😡slipary on the slopes. They should keep the rough tiles there. The water of Wave pool was also dirty. 🔹 There is inadequate bathrooms so we can not have bath after the rides. They should give the tickets according to the space. there is water logging 😡in the whole area of wash room and bathroom lobby. The 😡floor was slippery , no anti skid mats were there in this area. 🔹 They should not stop the lazy river flows... when they start wave pool. 🔹 They are not providing free tubes for lazy river , so we need to buy for 100 rs for each person. Then we need to take care of it till the end, which is difficult. 🔹 They are not allowing footwear in water park... which makes it more slippery. They should allow the footwear. 🔹 People are wearing even cotton clothes and chains in their necks in water rides... which is risky.
