Hotel Jazira — Hotel in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu

This was the last option I had in Daman as all other hotels were sold out due to Holi. Although going through the earlier reviews I knew that some sort of poor experience I am going to have. Yet, gave it a thought that this time things might have changed since the last review of this hotel was posted. ||Rooms- obviously overpriced for the festive season. I paid close to 7.3k for one last room that was left; that too on the ground floor. |Price factor I understand but then the quality of service and amenities also has to match the same. Room was big but the furniture was not maintained properly. Linens were not up to the mark. I didn't feel that they were fresh. Mosquitoes were there and if you don't carry a repellent then you are gone.. ||Washroom: The worst part. No exhaust fan present. Despite being on the ground floor, the water pressure was too low. The taps were jammed and were hard to manoeuvre. Washroom was full of mosquitoes. ||Dining Area: that is the only good part you will get. To have food with a wide sea view is the only good thing about this property. Although the dining furniture were poorly maintained. ||Food: the taste of food was good but they are overpriced. You have to wait for more than an hour if you visit in the peak season. They will only take care of your order if you order alcohol. If you didn't then they will simply forget that you exist. Food quantity is good yet I feel it's overpriced. ||Room Service: it was ok. The staff was polite and was quick when I ordered food in room. During dinner time i called the room service for order however I was asked to dial the housekeeping. When dialled, no one responded. Finally had to call the reception and like a govt office they also tried to route me back to the same. However, they provided what I wanted. So I believe there is lack of coordination among themselves. ||Parking: The property has parking space but if you do not pay a tip to the security men then next time they won't recognise you that you have a room booked there. Parking space is limited and it can be a tough job to park your vehicle in a tight space. Although security men will be there to guide you park. In the morning, they wash your vehicle also which I liked as a service they offer. ||Overall it was a normal stay and nothing holds me back that I wish to come back in this property. There are ample good properties present in Daman with justifiable pricing and services. Book this property only if you have no other...

Hell / Torture If you have read above words correctly then you are really lucky. I wasn't fortunate to read some real feedback about this location.

Location is superb, you will feel tempted to take your family to this place.

The same thing happened with me, will all josh we entered this hell. And 2 hour horror movie started.

We went on Sunday so there was some rush. We settled in 1st floor, we ordered very basic things to see how things work. We wanted to enjoy for 3 to 4 hours. Masala papad after 2 times argument came after 30 mins. Drink came after 20 mins with the wrong order, again the same issue.

We started complaining about why there was so much delay in Service, staff was enjoying our situation. They were used to this. Our other items came after 45 mins. We asked what we should order which will come fast. This server was so useless, he started telling us even if you order french fries then also we need to boil oil, cut potato it will take min 45 mins. Wow. We thought let's talk to some other server. Long story short.

This is a good museum, enjoy the fish tank, and the property. Don't go here for quality time over here.

This team is very regular with these negative reviews, they just don't care about feedback. But I will be very happy if even 1 person has read this and benefited from it.

Hotel Jazira - Gazebo top floor terrace restaurant was just a fantastic and super pleasurable place to have dinner and spend time bang opposite the beach.

Kudos to the Daman government for having achieved a awesome combination of somewhat of the Atlantis Dubai roadfront sea side ambience alongwith the Miami south beach road Beachfront restaurants discos and pubs !!! Mumkin to hai bhai ..agar humare karta dharta dhoti uthake lag Jaye kaam pe to sab mumkin hai 😀

Gazebo restaurant has delectable food items like the Dara fish butter garlic starter, we had to repeat order and have a soul filling experience. Chinese noodles and gravy were very nicely done with good quantity. Tanduri items were nice. Great place for drinks by the sea.

The top floor of gazebo was full of full on gujju Masti Maro crowd .. jumping dancing and Bollywood Hungama makes a joyful scene.

A must visit for everyone.. the new party destination for sure ..Daman beach front and the beach front restaurants and the shopping behind the hotel lane was great as well with very cheap good...
