Good area to shop around. Ideal for fabrics, scarves, clothes, teas and household goods like tiffins. We got some great bargains and prices are all reasonable. It is busy but not as crazy as old Delhi so we found it okay to navigate around. A brash piece of India, the Main Bazaar buzzes with activity from just before dawn till midnight. It's chaotic, noisy, full of hustlers, but extremely well-located. Some of the guesthouses are clean and good value for money. If you are not getting the furniture you want near by you in your budget so you can visit here whether you are single living in P.G or an entrepreneur/businessman looking for some office stuffs you can get here. Remember that price is always negotiable (Depands on your negotiation skills). Very crowded n cheap market in Paharganj.there are lots of lodging n hotels options for stay n dining. Veg Nonveg variety of food cloth n foot ware shops bag houses and many more for shopping. Paharganj is a cheap market .Its near Railway station and a busy market. There are no.of lodges were generally u can see foreigners. There is a big vegetable market. One can get all the stuff for house. Few Furniture shops are also there. Its crowded market. As you step out of the New Delhi Railway Station and cross the road, you stand at the entrance of Paharganj Main Bazaar. Stretching for about a kilometre, it is a bargainer's paradise. Chaotic, noisy and dirty, the market is only for shoppers who are rough and tough. The whole Main Bazaar is lined with shops full to the brim with books, music, jewellery, bags, clothes, shoes, incense, textiles, wooden statues, and handicrafts. Shanti Handloom and other textile shops offer bags, bed spreads, cushion covers, wall hangings, etc. The jewellery shops sell handmade beaded necklaces and bangles in every shape, size and colour. Carved wooden statues of gods and goddesses, brass wares and decorations are available among handicrafts. Prayer Incense Worldwide specializes in incense sticks, incense cones and Indian tea. Even books, both new and second-hand, are available. It is called as Main Bazar in Paharganj. This market is open for all 7 days of week. Hippie, Boho & aesthetic items is the specialty of the market. Clothes, shoes, decorative items, winter clothes, etc all are available. Do chk out this market. Nearest from New Delhi Metro Station(yellow line) & RK Ashram Metro Station (blue line). It’s a good place but you can only once as it is over crowded and the very unhygienic place. If you are nearby New Delhi’s railway station you can try this place but there are also multiple options available for the same location as you roam around you will see the each and everything available at this place. I absolutely loved it. It's raw, it's pure, it's real. If you are really up to get an Indian street market experience. This is it. You can't beat Paharganj market with your average city market. Everything you want to find is there and it's cheap; Indian cheap! But don't look for luxury items here. This is not the place for them. The market is famous for its wide range of clothing options. Apart from clothes, there are famous jewellery shops and footwear shops. You can also buy cheap handbags and backpacks. If you are hungry, Paharganj has got some of the most amazing cafes in Delhi. Hidden in the streets of Paharganj lies some amazing cafes and restaurants that are worth a visit. Thank you.

Other side of new delhi railway station most busiest place in Delhi not for the faint hearted. Nearest metro station is RK ashram or jhandewalan. Located at a kilometre’s distance, west from the New Delhi Railway Station is the Paharganj Market which is a hub spot for tourists owing to its close proximity to Central & Old Delhi. This Market is well known for hosting cheap hostels & hotels and is every budget traveller’s paradise. This place attracts a lot of backpackers travelling from various parts of the world. Its chaotic yet colourful streets, an array of bakeries and bars, a line of shops selling everything from junk jewellery to bags, attract people, including the locals. If you are looking for peace and serenity, this may not be your preferential choice. From paint to furniture building materials fiber sheets you will find all fixtures here guaranteed best price in 8ndia this is the marker where all experts cone to buy and sell you in retail for a bug profit. Do not forget to munch on chur chur parathas tandoori naans at kasmiri sweets top up with a glass of lassi. Be ready to face huge traffic and no parking space

Paharganj Delhi Paharganj, and particularly its primary thoroughfare Main Bazar, is a bustling backpacker enclave full of budget guest houses and tiny shops selling everything from hippie clothes to incense. There’s a mix of casual bakeries, no-nonsense eateries serving classic Indian dishes, and rooftop restaurants whose menus feature global fare like pasta and falafel. Nearby New Delhi station is a major railway hub. Paharganj (literally 'hilly neighbourhood') is a neighbourhood of Central Delhi, located just west of the New Delhi Railway Station. Known as Shahganj or King's ganj or market place during Mughal era,[1] it is one of the three administrative subdivisions, of the Central Delhi district, of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, with the other two being, Darya Ganj and Karol Bagh.
