Read moreOn a hot summer morning in May 2017 I walked up from our resort at Varca to this delightful museum on the main road at Varca. It is a modern structure made to house the collections of one individual. There are nice plants outside the museum. The outdoor s also house a giant anchor one of the star attractions of the museum. The place is not well publicised and so not much visited butnia definitely interesting and worth a visit by tourists coming to Varca. It has a vast collection of objects from the past two centuries including those related to: printing, recorded music, musical instruments, telephony, photography, anchors, calculas, altars, wine bottles, fish art, ships, thirst quenchers, tea and coffee, clocks, watches radio and more. As this is a private effort the result of the planning is that one has to go through literally thousands of objects laid out in a particular sequence by the owner. There is a museum attendant to answer and help the visitors. One gets a good glimpse of modern history from the land line telephone to the mobile phone as the owner emphasises in the publicity material. Good place to stop by for a...
