Adi Guru Shankaracharya Temple — Attraction in Howrah

The Adi Guru Shankaracharya Temple is situated on the Belilious Road, just beside the Tikiapara Railway Station (Howrah-Midnapore line, just the next station of Howrah). The temple is situated at a tiny (yet very beautiful) plot. There are a Ganesha idol, an idol of Bajrangbali hanuman, another one of Lord Krishna and the main one is obviously of Adi Guru Shankaracharya in the temple premises. As on 08/06/2023 (our last visiting date) there was a calf too which made the place pleasing to eyes and gentle indeed. In the evening the temple campus gets illuminated with such wonderful lighting that leaves everyone visiting there speechless and wondered. The type of the architecture is purely Indian and praiseworthy in a word. 👌 One may get Bhog/Prasadam from here too if notified earlier, I suppose. The entire campus is wrapped with different types of trees (both flower and fruit trees) which makes the place look more sacred. Besides that, the place offers Vedic and Astrological courses both offline and online. One may also perform some Vedic yajnas here for different purposes too. After putting off shoes outside the temple once you enter the temple premises, you'll lose yourself in some divine atmosphere and deeper thoughts that can't be described in mere words. I'd recommend all the people to visit the place at least once and if you like templs vibes, I can assure that you'll surely come back here again...

Excellent accomodation with a short passages. Tranquil & Transparent atmosphere gives you a lot of devine bliss. Just few minutes to walking distance from Tikiapara railway station.
