Boulder Hills Golf Course — Attraction in Hyderabad

Found that this course was within 10 minutes of my hotel while I was in Hyderabad on business. It was very difficult to find much information on the course, including how to contact them. I ended up having the driver who was supporting me take me to the course one evening before they closed. I ended up meeting the new GM, Papi Reddy...very friendly, great guy. He told me that they are getting a website set up and are investing in the course. While I was playing, there were many people out working on improvements.

The course is a challenging and interesting layout with these incredible, massive boulders throughout the course. Wayward shots that miss the fairway and rough are likely gone, so be ready. Elevation changes, blind shots, trees and boulders to hit over/around provided a very entertaining experience.

The fairways were in generally good shape, the rough, while mowed to be fairly short, could easily hit your ball unless you were standing over it. The greens, while rather slow, were in very nice condition and held the ball quite well.

Unfortunately, a few days prior to my arrival, they had experienced a leak which had caused some damage inside the fairly modern pro-shop/lounge/restaurant/locker room areas. There were a number of workers inside addressing these and much of the interior was generally unavailable. The little restaurant (not much in there...but likely due to the damage and new GM as it looked to be a work in progress) had very nice outside tables overlooking a beautiful "infinity-edge" pool.

Carts and rental clubs were not great, but they had them available. Large driving range was nice to see...in fair condition, but did allow for hitting any club in your bag. I did not see/find a putting green, so I can't comment on that.

I was paired with a really friendly member...having him point out where to aim, where hidden trouble was, etc. was great!

Overall, I had a great experience and will most certainly play here again on...

This is club is more than just a place to play it’s a community. The course is beautifully maintained, offering perfect balance of challenges and enjoyment for all levels of golfer’s. I usually go in morning, the atmosphere is very pleasant and refreshing.
