This park is lust greenery with a traditional fashioned stage for performance and an open area in the centre of the city. This place is also one of the best gathering spot for every age group and classical art lovers.
The park has a children's play area. Also there is a paved way around the park inside for walking/jogging so that not to worry about traffic.
A real IN 172 aeroplane mounted majestically at one end of the park facing NH and near to one of the gates. The other gate is just opposite to this gate.The park is maintained by GCDA.
The Changampuzha Park is a popular place for various art and cultural activities. They are conducting various arts programmes in addition to the regular programmes like Edappally Kathakali Aswadaka Sadas conducting kathakali programmes every month, Kavyamoola (second sunday of every month) for young budding poets to present poems composed by themselves, Akshara Sloka Sadas, fourth Sunday of every month.
